Genevieve Bates, College of Wisconsin-Madison
Genevieve Bates is an Anna Julia Cooper Analysis Affiliate and a potential Assistant Professor of Political Science on the College of Wisconsin-Madison. Beforehand, she was an assistant professor on the College of British Columbia and a postdoctoral fellow on the Watson Institute for Worldwide and Public Affairs at Brown College. She received her Ph.D. in political science from the College of Chicago in 2021. Her analysis pursuits embody political violence and post-conflict politics, transitional justice, and human rights in the US and overseas. She has printed in Views on politics and Journal for Human Rights. Her public dealing with work has been printed in International coverage and featured within the Scope Circumstances podcast.
Geneva Cole, School of William and Mary
Geneva Cole is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Race and Ethnic Coverage within the Division of Authorities at William and Mary and a potential Assistant Professor within the Faculty of Authorities and Public Coverage on the College of Arizona. She received her Ph.D. in political science from the College of Chicago in 2023. Her analysis pursuits broadly embody public opinion, political conduct, and the function of political and social identities in shaping help for racial equality. Her analysis has been printed in Social Sciences Quarterly and featured within the Washington Put up, MinnPost and the UCL Heart for US Politics Working Paper Collection in American Politics. She holds an MA in Political Science from the College of Chicago and a BA in Political Science and English, summa cum laude, from the College of Minnesota.
About APSA Advancing Analysis Grants for Early Profession Students
APSA Range and Inclusion Advancing Analysis Grants present help for the development of researchers from traditionally underrepresented racial and ethnic teams and for analysis that examines political science phenomena that have an effect on traditionally underserved communities and underrepresented teams and societies. In July 2023, APSA awarded six tasks to the APSA Range and Inclusion Advancing Analysis Grant for Early Profession Students for a complete of $12,000. In December 2023, APSA awarded three extra tasks.
