To the editor: Your article about civilians within the Gaza Strip being offended with Hamas made me sick.
It appears that almost all of Gazans are offended that Hamas didn’t plan to maintain their individuals with meals, drink and cash earlier than the group started its bloodbath of harmless Israelis on October 7.
Hamas has by no means cared about caring for the individuals of Gaza; it cares about destroying Israel, which is within the group’s constitution.
As has been mentioned by others, if the Palestinians have been to put down their arms, there could be peace – but when the Jews have been to put down their arms, there could be no extra Israel.

To the editor: After I noticed your article concerning the individuals of Gaza being offended with Hamas, it gave me hope.
Maybe there was a stirring of empathy in Gaza for the Israeli victims of the Hamas pogrom on 7 October. Maybe Gazans have been conscious that they have been slaughtering and burning Israeli infants in kibbutzim; the slaughter of tons of of younger individuals at a music pageant; rape and sexual mutilation of ladies, women and males; and the kidnapping of 240 individuals, together with girls, younger youngsters and an toddler, was morally reprehensible and would reverberate to their very own detriment.
Then I learn the article and my coronary heart sank. There was no trace of empathy for raped, slaughtered and kidnapped Israelis, no willingness to acknowledge that Hamas brutally massacred Israeli civilians.
Gazans “celebrated” the assault; they criticized Hamas not for its barbarism, however for not planning higher for the struggle.
With out empathy, there isn’t any path to lasting peace.
