To the editor: Paul Kessler ought to by no means have died. So type light loving folks don’t belong at rallies or protests the place there are individuals who don’t have any respect for human life and behave like savages.
There is no such thing as a doubt that feelings run deep on each side of the pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian protests. However consequently, Kessler’s household is left to mourn his violent and premature demise.

To the editor: As a former resident of Agoura Hills, I keep in mind feeling the anti-Semitism “just below the floor.”
I as soon as stood on the very same avenue nook on Westlake Blvd. in entrance of the Shell station. In 2008 I peacefully held indicators for Barack Obama and was harassed and spat on. I heard folks shout “you should be Jewish.” I distinctly keep in mind feeling worry from these “driving” haters. I packed my indicators and left in a single piece.
So whereas I’m not stunned by Mr. Kessler’s demise, I’m nonetheless very saddened.
I mourn his household and associates. I’ll recite the mourner’s Kaddish for him – a conventional Jewish prayer for the lifeless.
Lastly, the island and the bigotry of Westlake Village is now out within the open. I am glad I moved away from this poisonous metropolis. It is a unhappy day within the Conejo Valley — and the official finish of their imaginary bubble of security and safety.
